1961 PONTIAC VENTURA ULTRA-RARE DRAG RACER, 389/425A 4 BOLT MAIN 348 HP. TRI-POWER V-8 ENGINE, 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION, 8 LUG WHEELS, HONDURAS MAROON BODY COLOR/BUBBLE TOP COUPE, 2 TONE WHITE AND MAROON INTERIOR BENCH SEATING, AM RADIO, FACTORY CLOCK, IN ORDER TO GET A SUPER DUTY VENTURA IN 1961 IT WAS REQUIRED THAT THE CUSTOMER ORDER THE SD PACKAGE. WHEN THE VEHICLE ARRIVED THE SUPER DUTY RACE EQUIPMENT, SUCH AS THE HEADS AND CAMSHAFT WERE IN THE TRUNK. THIS ALLOWED THE RACERS TO GET THE CAR THEY NEED WITHOUT PONTIAC NEEDING TO SET UP A SPECIAL ASSEMBLY FACILITY TO BUILD THEM. EVERY NUT, BOLT AND ITEM ON THIS CAR IS N.O.S.
