Welcome to Ray Skillman Classic Cars - come on in!

Here we have hundreds of classic cars, some that Ray Skillman has even personally restored himself! Ray's enthusiasm with cars started when he restored his first car at the age of 14. In 1960, in his hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky, Ray first got into the car business. In 1979, Ray moved to Indianapolis, IN to become a partner in the Charlie Stuart Oldsmobile dealership. In the mid 1980's, Ray started collecting classic cars and doing the restoration work himself. Now, he has 15 different stores around Indianapolis with over 900 employees!

Ray Skillman's Classic Car "Museum" was built 15 years ago and has everything from a 1954 Corvette to classic DeLoreans, Kaisers, and even antiques. Reestablished classic neon signs from companies such as Studebaker, Texaco, and Meadow Gold Ice Cream hang from the ceiling. The museum is located behind the Ray Skillman Ford Dealership at 1250 US 31 South. We currently operate by appointment only.

In 2017, Ray Skillman welcomed John Blackburn onto the team to run the Ray Skillman Classic Cars Museum. John is very knowledgeable about classic cars and has worked in the specialty car business for 40 years. To inquire about an appointment or if you are interested in buying a Ray Skillman Classic Car, you can contact John Blackburn at John_Blackburn@rayskillman.net.
